Trnava became the meeting point of flag football on 28–29 March 2026, when the We Ball Too international tournament brought together hundreds of players, coaches, referees and supporters from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria.
Teams competed in three categories – U13, U15 and Women. The winners:
- U13: Vienna Dark Angels (AT)
- U15: Bratislava Monarchs (SK)
- Women: Příbram Bobcats (CZ)
Beyond the results, the weekend was a celebration of sport and community. Young players and adult athletes showed great team spirit, fair play and respect on and off the field. Mixed teams of girls and boys proved that flag football is a sport where everyone can play, and the women’s competition highlighted the growing strength of female athletes in the region.
The tournament was also a real intercultural experience. Players from three countries shared the field, cheered for each other, exchanged experiences and made new friendships across borders – which is exactly what the We Ball Too project stands for.
A big thank you to all teams, coaches, referees, volunteers and parents who made this event a success. More information will follow soon.
